AK Eye Hospital has a specialised facility for managing Dry Eyes and Ocular Surface Diseases. An effort is made to find the root cause of Dry Eyes by using sophisticated equipments like Ocular Surface Analyser (OSA). OSA enables in identifying the type of dry eye disorder and exactly which layer should be treated first based on the type of deficiency. This alongwith other tests and examination helps specialists to plan the treatment better.
We are also equipped with the latest Lipiflow machine for treating Meibomian Gland Disease (MGD) with Vector Thermal Pulsation. This OPD based 12 minutes procedure gives significant relief to the patients suffering from Dry Eyes due to MGD.
