LASIK

Spectacles and contact lenses prevent youngsters from leading an active life .

With spectacles, one cannot move freely, dance or go for adventure sports.

With contact lenses there is always the fear of dislocation, eyes getting dry too

often and the burden of carrying the cleaning solution wherever you go.

That`s when you think of permanently getting rid of your contact lenses/spectacles.

For people like you, LASIK surgery is a perfect pocket friendly option.

Our hospital has vastly experienced and highly skilled Ophthalmologists

Performing LASIK surgery. Moreover, we have state-of-the-art facilities

and modern quipment including ZEISS MEL 90 to support the surgery.

What Happens During the Procedure

During LASIK surgery, the surgeon creates a hinged flap or cut on the corneal surface.

A blade device called microkeratome is used for flap creation.

In Bladeless Procedure laser is used to create a flap.

Local anesthesia is applied to avoid pain during the flap creation.

The second step of the surgery is currection of the corneal shape using excimer laser.

Here, the surgeon lifts the flap and passes controlled laser to permanently

change the shape of cornea to correct the vision problems.

When applied, laser pulses from the excimer laser vaporizes a predetermined area of cornea.

In the final stage the surgeon places back the flap to its original position.

The flap will be healed on its own in a matter of few days.

ZEISS LASIK

Most Unique and safe LASIK Procedure

MEL 90 - your performances, your wookflow, your expectations - precisely
The excimer laser that intelligently combines proven experience and exciting advancement
  • Safely and efficiently correcting refractive errors with a laser repetition rate of 500 Hz & 250 Hz for Gentle treaments like PRK,PTK & Trans PRK - with a dual-range of Frequency available the heat generated is minimum leading to the safest procedure for LASIK, PRK, Trans PRK
  • ZEISS ATLAS Corneal Topography System:Topography Supported Custom Ablation (TOSCA) Treatment profile creates individual treatment plans tailored precisely to each of your eyes.
  • Triple-A offers a high degree of precision and predictability. In addition to intelligent energy correction, it comprises an aspherically optimized design that also focuses on minimal tissue removal. This results in gentle treatments of standard, but also eyes with higher and lower level of ametropia. All combined into one single ablation algorithm
  • Potentially reducing influence on stromal dehydration of the cornea - Dryness of the cornea is limited with MEL 90 leading to limited dryness after the surgery
  • Potentially reducing influence on flap shrinking-Leading to most superior vision when compared to other LASIK procedures
  • Potentially reducing sensitivity to eye movements-the eye-tracking is assisting continues leading to the accuracy of the procedure

We provide customied solution for you eye as unique as you

ATLAS 9000 to make pre-measurements, and that is fed directly into the treatment planning

for laser vision correction. The included algorithm helps us make a customized surgical plan.

It includes preoperative wavefront data so we can adjust the depth of field for each eye

individually and creates a personalized ablation profile. The plan also incorporates

anisometropia tolerance, functional age of each eye, and eye dominance testing.

Advantages of LASIK with ZEISS MEL 90

  • Customized Treatment
  • Smooth and even corneal flaps
  • Thinner flaps, less tissue ablation
  • Safer and more precise method
  • More gentle method
  • Faster vision rehabilitation
  • No cut-related complications
  • No black-outs during the treatment
  • No blocking of the retina's blood circulation

Who can opt for LASIK procedure?
